Below you will find the ingredient and equipment list for Saturday's class. We will walk through the process in class.
Lemon Curd Tart
Ingredient list
Crust
1 egg yolk
2 Tbs cold water
1 tsp vanilla extract
150 grams flour
¼ tsp Salt
1 stick unsalted butter cut into cubes.
1/3 cup sugar
Lemon curd
3 whole eggs plus 3 egg yolks (large eggs)
¾ Cup Sugar
¾ Cup Lemon Juice
2 Tbs lemon zest
12 Tbs unsalted butter cut into cubes
(Optional berries of your choice, or whipping cream)
Equipment
3 qt saucepan, 9 inch tart shell pan with removable bottom
